Morocco Imperial Cities & Sahara Desert (12 days)

 Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat
Upon your arrival in Casablanca, your private driver will greet you at the airport and take you to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Enjoy a relaxing evening in this charming coastal city.

Day 2: Rabat – Meknes
After breakfast, we’ll explore Rabat, visiting key sites like the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, Kasbah des Oudaias, and Le Tour Hassan. In the afternoon, we’ll travel to Meknes to see the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, Bou Inania Medersa, and the Medina.

 Day 3: Meknes – Volubilis – Fes
We’ll start the day with a morning visit to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Explore the 2,000-year-old remains and learn about life during the Roman Empire. In the evening, we’ll continue to Fes, the spiritual heart of Morocco.

 Day 4: Fes Guided Tour
After breakfast, our guided tour will take us through the Fes medina, one of the largest walled cities in the world. Discover narrow streets filled with vibrant markets, the King’s Palace, tanneries, and potters. Enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant, and in the evening, we’ll hike to the Tombe dei Merenidi for stunning sunset views.

Day 5: Fes – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
After an early breakfast, we’ll head to Merzouga. We’ll stop in Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland,” and Azrou to see the monkey forest. After a lunch break in Midelt, we’ll arrive at the majestic Sahara sand dunes. Experience a camel trek at sunset and spend the night in a luxury desert camp, enjoying dinner and traditional Berber music under the stars.

 Day 6: Merzouga – Erfoud – Tinjdad – Todra Gorge (Tinghir)
Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, then enjoy breakfast at the camp. We’ll visit Erfoud’s Museum of Fossils and Minerals, then have lunch in Tinjdad before continuing to Todra Gorge.

Day 7: Todra Gorge (Tinghir)
After breakfast, we’ll explore the stunning landscapes of Todra Gorge. Choose to hike nearby or take a stroll in the fields to see traditional agriculture practices. Optional activities include rock climbing or exploring the town of Tinghir.

Day 8: Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge – Valley of Roses – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou
After breakfast, we’ll travel through Dades Valley, famous for its 1,000 kasbahs and lush landscapes. Stop at Amridil Kasbah and explore Ouarzazate, including its film studio. In the evening, we’ll head to Ait Ben Haddou.

 Day 9: Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, we’ll visit the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site featured in many films. We’ll then drive over the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech, checking into your hotel or riad before exploring Djemaa-el-Fna in the evening.

Day 10: Marrakech Guided Tour
After breakfast, our guide will escort you through Marrakech’s historic sites, including Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Koranic School of Ben Youssef, and Koutoubia Mosque. Visit the vibrant souks and enjoy a refreshing mint tea or coffee with panoramic views of Jamaa El Fna.

 Day 11: Marrakech – Casablanca
After breakfast, we’ll visit Jardin Menara before heading to Casablanca. Once there, check into your hotel and relax before visiting the stunning Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world.

Day 12: Casablanca
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and be transferred to the airport for your departure.
