Fez To Marrakech Via Sahara Desert (4 Days)

Day 1: Fes → Ifran → Midelt → Merzouga
After breakfast, we’ll pick you up at the nearest access parking from your Hotel/Riad around 7 AM to begin our journey to the Sahara Desert. We’ll pass through Ifrane, known as little Switzerland, and continue through the cedar forest of Azrou, keeping an eye out for resident monkeys. After crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains, we’ll stop for lunch in Midelt, famous for its rocks and fossils. Then, we’ll continue to the majestic sand dunes of Merzouga. In the evening, you’ll enjoy a camel ride to an oasis to witness the sunset and spend the night in a luxury desert camp, complete with dinner, a campfire, and traditional Berber music under the starlit sky.

Day 2: Merzouga → Erfoud → Tinjdad → Todra Gorge
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the Sahara dunes and have breakfast at your desert camp. We’ll depart for Todra Gorge, stopping at Erfoud to visit the Museum of Fossils and Minerals. After lunch in Tinjdad, we’ll continue our journey through Berber villages, passing a traditional underground irrigation system known as Elkhatarat. Finally, we’ll arrive at Todra Gorge for a relaxing evening.

Day 3: Todra Gorge → Dades Gorge → Valley of Roses → Skoura
After breakfast, we’ll drive along the road of a thousand Kasbahs, admiring the stunning landscape and views of the Dades Gorge. Next, we’ll stop in Kalaat M’gouna, the capital of roses, to enjoy the valley of roses before heading to Skoura for the night.

Day 4: Skoura → Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech
After breakfast, we’ll explore Skoura, then head to Ouarzazate to visit Kasbah Taourirt and the Atlas Film Studios. We’ll continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its role in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones, where we’ll have lunch. Afterward, we’ll travel to Marrakech via the Tizi N’Tichka high Atlas Mountains.
