Marrakech to Merzouga Desert 3 Days

Day 1: Marrakech to Ait Benhaddou and Boumalne Dades
Your 3-day Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour kicks off early in the morning as we drive east through the stunning High Atlas Mountains. We’ll stop along the way to capture the breathtaking scenery and cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass at about 2,600 meters above sea level. After soaking in the views, we’ll visit Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, for lunch. Continuing on, we’ll pass through Ouarzazate, Skoura Oasis, and Kalaat M’Gouna, the rose capital, before exploring the Dades Valley. We’ll check into a local hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Boumalne Dades to Tinghir and Merzouga
After breakfast, we’ll depart from Dades, heading towards Tinghir and the spectacular Todra Gorges. Enjoy a leisurely walk amid the stunning landscapes before stopping for lunch. Next, we’ll make our way to Rissani and then to Merzouga. Here, you’ll embark on a camel ride into the desert to catch a mesmerizing sunset before arriving at your desert camp, where you’ll spend the night under the stars in traditional nomadic tents.

Day 3: Merzouga to Ouarzazate and Marrakech
On the final day, wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, followed by a camel ride back to your hotel in Merzouga. After a refreshing shower and breakfast, we’ll set off for Marrakech, passing through Ouarzazate and over the High Atlas Mountains. We expect to arrive in Marrakech around 7:00 PM, marking the end of your unforgettable 3-day adventure.
