Fes to Erg Chebbi Desert (2 Days)

Day 1: Fes → Ifran → Azrou → Midelt → Erfoud → Merzouga Erg Chebbi
After breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your Riad/Hotel around 7:30 AM to begin our journey across the Atlas Mountains. First, we’ll visit Ifrane, known as the “Little Switzerland of Morocco,” and see the famous stone lion. Afterward, we’ll drive to Midelt for lunch. Continuing through Ziz Valley, lined with date and palm trees, we’ll reach the majestic Sahara sand dunes of Merzouga. In the evening, enjoy a camel trek for about 1.5 hours to the oasis, where you can witness the stunning Sahara sunset. Spend the night in a luxury desert camp, enjoy dinner, gather around the campfire, listen to traditional Berber music, and gaze at the starlit sky.

Day 2: Merzouga → Rissani → Erfoud → Middle Atlas Mountains → Fes
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the Sahara sand dunes and have breakfast at your luxury camp. Then we’ll head back to Fes, stopping in Erfoud to visit the Museum of Fossils and Minerals. After lunch in Midelt, we’ll continue to Azrou, where you can see the cedar forest inhabited by Magot monkeys. In the evening, we’ll arrive back in Fes for a relaxing night.
